Outright Purchase

Formal

No frills purchase of an asset, probably for cash, for use in business. As opposed to rental, contract hire, sale or return - where ownership may not transfer.

Real-world Example

A company decides to buy a new server outright with cash rather than leasing or financing it - taking full ownership immediately, with no ongoing payments or dependency on a lender.
